Sadly Former WBC Champion Charlie Magri has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease

Former WBC flyweight boxing champion Charlie Magri, 69, was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2024, which he and his family suspect is linked to his boxing career. He has been suffering from memory issues, dizziness, and fatigue following a check-up at Mile End Hospital

The dinner evening celebrated Charlie’s career with messages and well wishes from friends from around the sporting world 

The organisers asked if Killian could create a special painting for the event.  The painting captures Magri in fight pose and after winning the WBC Title being raised aloft by Mickey Duff
